Wow, it has been well over a year since I last made an entry on here!!! So here we are. Ella is now almost 4! Can you believe it???? Georgia is almost 20 months and James is closer to 13 than 12!!! I have been so slack with updating! I am back at work part time, have been since Feb this year so life has been hectic!! I will try and get back on track! In the meantime, here are some recent pics of my babies!

 

 

 

 

I have decided to change the look of this blog a bit. It was (and still is) mainly about Ella, hence the web address is Ella2004! However, I have decided to change it a bit so that there is room to write about the other kids and also just day to day stuff about myself as well! I hope everybody like the new layout. I have decided to name it JAMELIA (JAMesELlageorgIA). I have to thank my very talented friend Nat for designing my new Blog header! Thanks Nat!

My poor darling baby Georgia. I was changing her nappy and I noticed her toe was red and swallen. I saw the the toe next to it had a hair wrapped around it so I untangled it and got it off this toe. I tried getting the hair off the swallen toe but it wouldn’t budge. I lifted up the toe to see what was going on and OH MY GOD it looked like her toe was going to come off! I called Scott, threw both girls in the car and headed for Jean’s house. I dropped Ella at Jean’s door (she met us at the door, don’t worry I didn’t just leave Ella there!) and I headed for the hospital. We didn’t have to wait long thank goodness. The doctors were perplexed! They ended up getting the hair off her toe and said that it should heal on it’s own and wouldn’t need a plastic surgery consult. It has healed now but if I hadn’t have noticed it so soon, the poor thing could have lost her toe. It’s called a hair tourniquet and apparently happens often with babies! Poor chook

 

 

 Ella is just a little bit obsessed with the movie Night at the Museum, thanks to my Dad! He gave James a copy of the movie but Miss Ella has taken ownership of it and watches it every day. I kid you not, EVERY DAY! It is for this reason that I took her and James and my sister Sarah to the Melbourne Museum. I wanted to show Ella the dinosaurs in real life. She was so excited but once we entered the dinosaur exhibit she soon changed her tune and was pretty scared! She did enjoy the “kitchen”, an old set from Neighbours! All in all we had a good day and she did enjoy herself. Now instead of a book at bed time, she insists on the dinosaur story which is me recapping our trip to the Museum
